One of the best! Villa exactly as described, very clean and well maintained. Garden area and pool superb and a dads delight, superb wood fired bbq !!! Everything in the house you could possibly need. Lovely village albeit up a hill in the blistering heat, but not complaining ! Local pizzeria fine but you’ll want to eat on the patio most evenings anyway. Local co-op two minutes away and well stocked, good selection of very reasonably priced food and wine. Daniela kept in touch before and after, ensuring Alberto (groundsman) there for arrival and departure. Certainly one of the best Villas we have stayed in. Thank you Daniela.

A trip in time! The description of Casa Renata on the website sounded too good to be true and we were sure that it had been talked up and the photos would have been selective,,,,,,,, we were wrong! This is simply a superb villa in a fantastic location with friendly locals, great amenities, but lets start with the casa itself. We were met by the now famous Alberto who, without much English gave us a great welcome and the full guided tour. The accommodation was fabulous, well appointed with everything you could need to make your stay just great (there was even a welcome basket and some basics like milk and eggs, and wine)! The Casa was immaculately clean, as were the linen and towels and the large pool, thanks to Alberto and his magic submersible vacuum cleaner! The location was magical with the medieval town and castle of Soriano looming majestically in the near distance whilst you are completely surrounded by gardens and fruit trees, without being overlooked by any other residences. Close enough to Rome for a day visit with many other historic and interesting points of interest nearby. Driving is easy with much less traffic than at home. Now the negatives……. apart from the mosquitoes there aren’t any! Just brilliant… get it booked!

All round excellence! Spacious, comfortable & very well-equipped apartment ideal for couples & families. Well situated for easy access by foot into Soriano for its excellent good value restaurants & bars & also by road for the many excellent cultural & scenic attractions nearby. Rome is an easy & short train journey away. Tuscania is a hidden gem of an area well worth exploring with the Apartment a very comfortable & relaxing base.

We have loved the garden for footy and hide and seek. The pool for floating on lillos. Soriano for its labyrinth of medieval streets (go for a wonder round the streets near the castle!), stunning views, friendly people, delicious gelati and coffee and ridiculously cheap pastries at Bar Roma. We have loved exploring this untouristy area and really enjoyed a couple of trips on the train to Rome – amazing city. We had delicious food at La Faggeta, and the place with a terrace on stilts over the lake at the main beach at Lake Bolsena and lots of lovely food elsewhere.

What a fabulous place this apartment is. The most stricking thing you notice as you walk in, is the view – it is stunning – by day you can see the old town with it’s castle at the top, together with countryside and mountains for miles – at night the town and castle are lit up and it’s magical. The apartment is wonderfully spacious, very clean, beautifully presented and has everything available to you that you would need for a perfect stay. The kitchen is equipped as well as you would have at home and Daniella provides a wonderful welcome basket of little goodies for your arrival. There is a fantastic folder that Daniella has compiled, full of information and suggestions of where to visit, recommendations of where to eat, where to catch the train from and a time table, local shops and supermarket addresses with maps, even down to where things are in the apartment – ie the hair drier, iron etc. Our stay was wonderful, we had days out at many beautiful places including Viterbo with it’s lovely cobbled streets and medieval quarter, Bagnoregio which was a beautiful old town on top of a hill only accessed by a bridge, the views were amazing, Lake Bolsena – very pretty. We visited a couple of gardens, Ville Lante and Garden of Monsters – both beautiful and had a day in Rome which was amazing and very easy to get to by train. Everywhere we went the food was delicious and Daniella’s recommendations were excellent for this …. and the Italian people are so friendly. The ice cream – well we must have tried every flavour and loved them all! Daniella’s apartment is perfectly situated in an area of beautiful scenery with so much to do and see. Our family of 4 would, without question, highly recommend it.

What a beautiful apartment! It was just like the pictures and so well equipped. The beds were comfy, the bathrooms so clean and the kitchen was so roomy. We loved the view and the fact that we could walk into the town in just a few minutes. It was also the perfect spot to stay and explore so many beautiful areas of Tuscany. We would highly recommend this place to anyone!!

We have just returned from a relaxing two weeks at Casa Renata. The house has everything you could need including air conditioning. The garden and pool are beautiful. The views from the house are breath taking, especially at night when the castle is lit up. Soriano is a taste of real Italy and has a good supermarket, shops, restaurants and friendly Italians. Would like to take this opportunity to thank Daniela and Alberto for making our holiday so special.

Apartment Oleandri is perfect. We know this area of Lazio well, and absolutely love it and it was so nice to discover Soriano nel Cimino and stay in such a well equipped, comfortable and stylish apartment. The view of Soriano is breathtaking, and the town itself has so much to offer with many good restaurants. We would particularly recommend Tre Scalini. We would highly recommend Apartment Oleandri!

Excellent villa. Description and photos matched the real thing. Pool close to the villa with beautifully laid out path and patio areas. Well lit in the evenings making it perfect to watch the bats. Grounds and pool well maintained. Fantastic outside barbeque. Villa not overlooked and the villas either side are not very close. Property secure with electric gate. Layout inside is great with good size bedrooms, bathroom and wet room downstairs. Kitchen well stocked. Air conditioning in the bedrooms keeps the upstairs cool. Service excellent. Owners very helpful both pre, during and afterwards. Great information ring binder and brochures provided by the owners within the villa containing very helpful and interesting information about the region. Lovely welcoming hamper on arrival with home made olive oil. Villa was cleaned with fresh sheets and towels half way through our 2 week break. Plenty to visit in the surrounding areas. The town itself is full of history and lovely to explore with some great restaurants but take a torch for night time walks as road into the town is not well lit. Plenty of historical towns to visit in the area. Easy route to drive from Airport in Rome. Rome and Florence are very easy train journeys away. Overall a fantastic holiday.

We have enjoyed a wonderful week in Soriano nel Cimino. The apartment is extremely well equipped and is ideally located for the town’s excellent restaurants and shops. Daniela is very helpful and responsive to any queries and there is lots of information in the flat to help you get the most out of your stay. The town is authentically Italian with real character and atmosphere and you are also ideally placed to explore Rome and Tuscany as well as more local Umbrian towns. We will return as soon as we can, as much as anything to sit on the balcony with a glass of wine, and watch the spectacular and changing view of the town, countryside and mountains.

We very much enjoyed our week at this outstanding private villa with swimming pool about an hour’s journey by car from Rome’s Leonardo Da Vinci Airport. The villa, grounds and swimming pool are all well appointed, with a stunning view of the medieval village of Soriano Nel Cimino nestling quietly on the hillside above. A particular pleasure was taking in this enchanting view in early evening, sipping a chilled Limonchello on the Terrace, listening to the sounds of the village church bells gently chiming out the theme tune of the tv show Two Greedy Italians! Soriano has a few nice restaurants which are only a couple of minutes drive away by car. The villa is also extremely well located for trips to Rome, Viterbo & La Tuscia, Lazio Lakes and even Florence which is only two hours drive away. Daniela, who manages the property, was a dream to deal with! This villa is a must if you are seeking an authentic taste of Italy and a unique holiday experience away from the hustle and bustle! Grazie Mille Daniela and Alberto!
